Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) 

Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital is searching for a full-time associate veterinarian to join our 8 doctor practice! We are a full service, AAHA accredited hospital that practices high quality medicine. We have a very skilled technical staff and a great environment for mentoring if you are a new grad! We provide a mixture of services from wellness visits to emergencies. We are looking for a doctor who is excited to practice anything from preventative medicine to emergency surgeries - and anything in between! We have ultrasound, digital x-ray, and digital dentistry x-ray and are always looking to learn and provide progressive medicine. If you would like to work with an exceptionally dedicated and caring team in a positive atmosphere then look no further! Willing to mentor enthusiastic new graduate!

The position offers flexible hours with rotational weekend scheduling. No overnight hours!

Externships/Internships

We do encourage students that wish to complete an externship or internship as part of their program of study, with a veterinary technician or doctor, to do so.  Please contact Missy Christopherson - missy.ohah@outlook.com for further information and a discussion of covid-19 protocols in place at the hospital.   

Volunteers

Due to liability concerns, we are unable to offer volunteer positions. We would encourage individuals to contact the Eau Claire County Humane Association if they would be interested in spending time walking and socializing the animals waiting to find new homes.
