
Dr. Bob Bohacek graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1974. He then practiced 15 years in Connecticut, where he was the owner of two small veterinary clinics. Yearning to return to the Midwest, Dr. Bohacek assumed ownership of Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital and moved to Eau Claire in 1990.
Dr. Bohacek is married and has a son and a daughter. He is the proud owner of three adopted furry friends: an Australian Cattle Dog, a Yorkshire Terrier, and a black domestic shorthair cat.
Dr. Bohacek enjoys weight training, biking, golfing, boating, and woodworking.

Dr. Pam Ogden graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. After practicing for four years in southern Illinois, she moved to Eau Claire with her husband in 1987. She shares her home with her husband, two Labrador Retrievers, three cats, a turtle, and tropical fish. Her son is currently in college, and her daughter graduated recently. Dr. Ogden enjoys swimming competitively, jogging, snowshoeing and bicycling.

Dr. Kevin Landorf graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. He practiced in the Chippewa Valley for ten years in two mixed animal veterinary clinics before deciding to specialize in small animal medicine and surgery. When not working at the animal hospital, he enjoys an active life with his wife, daughter, and son. Their Shih Tzu, and Labradoodle are very much a part of this active family as well.
In his spare time, Dr. Landorf enjoys biking, tennis, household do-it-yourself projects, reading, and boating with family and friends.

Dr. Joan Schumacher graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. She has been practicing in the Eau Claire area for the past 24 years. Dr. Schumacher joined our staff in 2003. Dr. Schumacher shares her home with her husband, Mike and daughter, Kristen. Her son, Bryan started the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree program at UW-Madison in Sept. 2011. Their family also includes aGolden Retriever, Miley and two cats named Rodeo and Spurrz. They also have four Quarter horses, Classy, Snuffy, Dooley, and Gator.
Dr. Schumacher is an active member in the Bit and Spur Saddle Club and enjoys trail riding and showing horses. She has been actively involved in teaching veterinary medicine at UW-Eau Claire, UW-River Falls and Globe University.

Dr. Todd Leavitt joined our staff in August, 2010. After graduating from University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, he completed a one year internship with Michigan Veterinary Specialists in Detroit where he received advanced training in medicine and surgery.
He grew up in Eau Claire and has been interested in veterinary medicine since childhood. He graduated in 1998 from Memorial High School and worked at Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital in 1999 as a kennel attendant. He returned to our hospital as a senior in veterinary school and completed an externship here.
Dr. Leavitt currently lives in Eau Claire with his wife Jennifer and baby Simon. He also shares his home with a dog, Bree (Lab mix) and 2 cats, Phoebe and Emma.
